Schizophrenia and Clinic Psychoanalysis contemporaneous
Abstract
ABSTRACT: Schizophrenia is considered the most severe mental illness and brings a devastating effect on people affected by it, affecting personal fullfilment and autonomy. The aim of this paper is to make a survey on historical data about the illness and contemporaneous possibilities of psychoanalysis as a form of schizophrenia treatment, trying to answer the questions about how psychoanalysis may be used in the treatment. We use bibliography research in form of narrative. The discussion from the avaible resources showed that is possible the treatment of subjects diagnosed with schizophrenia is possible, widening their possibilities with damage control, from a qualified hearing and the analyst’s wish.
