Splenomegaly is a very common finding on ultrasound examination and may occur due to infiltrative, congestive, hyperplastic or infectious processes. This work aimed to identify the frequency of splenomegaly through ultrasound imaging and associate it with hematological parameters and blood parasite research in dogs treated at the Veterinary Clinical Complex of the Federal University of Roraima. 111 clinical records, ultrasound reports and hematological results of patients were evaluated between January 2023 and January 2024. Of the total evaluated, 72% (81/111) presented splenomegaly and 28% (30/111) absence of splenomegaly. Statistically, it was based on descriptive evaluation and analytical evaluation, using the Jamovi 2.4.11 software, measuring frequency in contingency tables and Fisher's Exact Test. In this research, splenomegaly was greater in females and adult patients. Furthermore, anemia, thrombocytopenia and blood parasite research were key variables for the work, with no statistically significant difference associated with splenomegaly. Therefore, it was important to note that splenomegaly in dogs needs to be further investigated. Associating it with hematological exams and blood parasite research did not demonstrate a statistically significant difference, often requiring further research into its real cause.
