ESTADO DA ARTE EM Economia Circular de embalagens: o que diz a literatura internacional?

Resumo

Nos últimos anos o conceito de Economia Circular (EC) tem renovado o entusiasmo de acadêmicos e praticantes de gestão, sobretudo porque tem se mostrado uma alternativa para uma real operacionalização, já com casos existentes na administração pública e privada fechando seus ciclos produtivos e preservando recursos naturais. Desta forma, o objetivo deste trabalho foi levantar o estado da arte da Economia Circular de embalagens através de uma Revisão Sistemática de Literatura (SLR). A utilização da SLR é útil para fornecer evidências cientí­ficas sobre determinado assunto e para estruturar a busca foi utilizado o protocolo descrito por Cronin, Ryan & Coughlan (2008), já testado por outros autores. Optou-se pela base cientí­fica Web of Science e após a utilização de critérios de inclusão e exclusão, 41 artigos (escritos em inglês) foram lidos e analisados com profundidade. Além da análise bibliométrica, os resultados evidenciam o interesse crescente dos journals internacionais sobre o assunto bem como são expostas as instituições e os periódicos que mais propagam conhecimento em Economia Circular de embalagens. Áreas temáticas e o conteúdo dos artigos foram discutidos e descobriu-se que a etapa de gerenciamento de resí­duos é a mais amplamente pesquisada. Ao término, uma lista de perguntas é apresentada com base no que a literatura internacional encontrou de atuais lacunas de pesquisa. Desta forma, coopera-se para a disseminação do novo termo no Brasil, no desejo maior de perceber que o conhecimento pode levar í s práticas de gestão que caminhem rumo ao desenvolvimento sustentável.

Patricia Guarnieri belongs to the Faculty of Economics, Business, and Accounting, Department of Business Administration at University of Brasilia (UnB), Brazil. She holds a Bachelor in Accounting by State University of West of Parana (Unioeste), Master in Production Engineering from Federal University of Technology of Parana (UTFPR), and Doctorate in Production Engineering from Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), Brazil. She is currently lecturer and researcher at University of Brasilia, Brazil, teaching Logistics and Decision Analysis classes. She has several articles published in Brazilian and international events and journals. Her research interests include public and private procurement, selection, evaluation and management of suppliers, collaboration and partnerships in supply chain management; reverse logistics; environmental accounting; and multi-criteria decision aid.
