Resumo

Com o crescimento da oferta de serviços logí­sticos, e o consequente aumento da concorrência, o uso das tecnologias de informação e comunicação (TIC) passa a ser considerado, pelos prestadores de serviços logí­sticos (PSL), fonte de vantagem competitiva. Por meio de uma revisão de literatura, este trabalho busca identificar quais tecnologias são utilizadas pelos PSL. Analisando 47 artigos sobre o tema, publicados no periódico internacional que concentra o maior número de trabalhos sobre PSL, as aplicações das tecnologias pelos PSL foram analisadas, segundo uma taxonomia sugerida com base na literatura - software, hardware e redes. Dentre os resultados obtidos destacam-se as tecnologias mais citadas por categorias e as de maior interesse cientí­fico, como: EDI, RFID, TTS, WMS e Internet.
