OS IMPACTOS DA PANDEMIA DO COVID-19 NA CADEIA DE SUPRIMENTOS E ATIVIDADES LOGÍSTICAS: CONTRIBUIÇOES E INSIGHTS TEÓRICOS

Resumo

A pandemia de coronaví­rus (COVID"19), causada pela sí­ndrome respiratória aguda grave coronaví­rus tornou-se um problema global. A atual pandemia do COVID-19 está pressionando as capacidades de produção dos fabricantes e as cadeias de suprimentos globais. A pandemia do COVID-19 tem impactado as cadeias de suprimentos, à medida que as empresas enfrentam flutuações na oferta e na demanda, surtos intermitentes em diferentes partes do mundo e nesse sentido torna-se uma discussão atual e relevante repensar as redes de suprimentos. A metodologia utilizada nesse trabalho foi a pesquisa bibliográfica, a partir de consultas nas bases de dados ScienceDirect, Emerald, Wiley Online Library, Scientific Electronic Library Online - (SciELO) dentre outras com uma abordagem qualitativa. Com base nos resultados da pesquisa, constata-se que o cenário pandêmico está gerando um impacto sem precedentes na cadeia de suprimentos global, os quais tem afetado não só o abastecimento de produtos, mas também a vida das pessoas e desenvolver uma resposta convincente da cadeia de suprimentos ao surto de coronaví­rus é extremamente desafiador, dada a escala da crise e a taxa com que está evoluindo. Verifica-se que investir no mapeamento das redes de suprimentos pode auxiliar as organizações a estarem mais preparadas as demandas atuais e conseguirem fazer frente aos problemas decorrentes do COVID-19, tornando assim as cadeias de suprimentos mais resilientes para o enfrentamento do cenário pandêmico.
